    EVENT DETAILS

Bolivia is a country of breathtaking landscapes and rich traditions, home to many indigenous people groups and the largest salt flats in the world. But amid its beauty and diversity, the safety of many women and children is threatened by the crimes of sexual violence, physical and domestic violence, and even femicide.

Since 2006, IJM has worked alongside Bolivian government officials and community partners to strengthen the justice system and design improvements that serve survivors. To date, over 2,300 children have been relieved from sexual violence and over 760 criminals have been convicted for sexual violence and related crimes.

Join us on Tuesday, September 17 at Thrd. Coffee Company (1816 N. Milwaukee Ave) in Bucktown for a casual gathering and deep dive presentation on IJMs’ work in the beautiful country of Bolivia.
